Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion set for World of Warcraft.

Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion pack released for World of Warcraft. It features a whole new continent called Northrend and a new level cap of 80. The new continent is known for its rich amount of snow and ice, parts of it are frozen over but not all of it.

The expansion now also features a new playable Hero Class called Death Knight. You have to have a character of at least level 55 to be able to create a Death Knight on the particular server you play on. This class can be created with any race and both Alliance and Horde can create this class.

A new profession is also available called inscription. It is similar to the Enchanting profession but inscription can permanently improve a players spells and abilities. The profession can for example change a Mages frostbolt to increase its critical strike, or damage. All depending on what you would like to do.
