World of Warcraft is an online role-playing game set in the Warcraft universe. Players take the role of Warcraft heroes as they explore, adventure, and quest across the vast world. Being "Massively Multiplayer," World of Warcraft allows thousands of players to interact within the same world. Whether adventuring together or fighting against each other in epic battles, players will form friendships, forge alliances, and compete with enemies for power and glory.

Editors Note:
World of Warcraft will start on a MacBook, even the older iBook. But it could be a bit frustrating to play this game on these machines because of the low frame rates, especially in instances or raids. I would recommend at least the Aluminum MacBook or one of the new iMacs. Mostly because you get a better graphics card if you select one of them. These are my own opinions and doesn't necessarily reflect those of others.
This game works natively on Mac OS X. With no need to download any special software.
