Still Slow After Update To Lion

its only been a few days since i bought my mac and after the lion update it's been slow... why?

ANSWER: Maybe spotlight is indexing your files? Spotlight indexing use your computers resources when it is active. It should become better when it is finished. (If that is the problem)
