Sims 3 for Mac - The third installment of the popular Sims series

The highly successful game series the Sims have reached version 3, Sims 3 for Mac is now available. Create your sim with distinct personality and customize everything!

The release of Sims 3 makes the Mac Games catalog increase even more. More and more game developers see the Mac platform as a good platform to develop games for. In my opinion this will create a little snowball effect. More games = more customers = more games = Apple world dominance? Well... maybe not, but it is a good thing.

In Sims 3 you will experience a new seamless living neighborhood. You can visit your neighbor, go on a date. Admire the scenery, mountains, beaches and more. You get a lot more freedom compared to the older games.

You can also customize your character as you like, with easy to use design tools. Even personalities can be customized. If you go online you can get more content like outfits, houses and more. You can also share the sims with anyone.

You will need a fairly new Mac to run this game, check below for the minimum System Requirements:

OS: Mac OS X 10.5.7 Leopard or higher
Processor: Intel Core Duo Processor
RAM: 2GB
Disc Drive: 8x DVD ROM or faster
Hard Drive: At least 6.1 GB + 1GB for saved games and custom content
Video Card: ATI X1600 or Nvidia 7300 GT with 128 MB of Video RAM, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100.

Please note that The Sims 3 for Mac will not run on PowerPC (G3/G4/G5) based Mac systems, or the Intel GMA 950 class of integrated video cards.
