You have invested a lot in your new MacBook and now it is a smart move to protect it against scratches. Especially if you move it around a lot. There are a few products on the market but I would like to recommend one of them and that is a neoprene sleeve. Neoprene is a kind of rubber, this material is also used in wetsuits. It is only until a few years ago this material became used in protecting products like laptops, remote controls and so forth. It works very well protecting from scratches and general wear and tear.
Although neoprene sleeves protect your Mac it will probably not protect it so good if you drop it. For that you need something more sturdy. A MacBook Hard Case for example.
