MacBook Pro 15-Inch a good all-rounder
The MacBook Pro 15-Inch is the perfect all around laptop from Apple. It has a lot of customization options when you decide to buy one and comes in several different price ranges.
This Apple Laptop now comes with the same type of built in battery as the 17-Inch MacBook Pro. This gives the computer up to 7 - 8 hours of wireless productivity and it has been proven in reviews. Apple have made this a reality because they engineered their own battery type. They are using rectangular flat cells instead of the more common cylindrical cells and this makes better use of available space.
The decision to make the battery internal also removes the need for the battery compartment with all the mechanics involved there. Making room for more battery real estate ...
Apple decided to remove the express card slot from the MacBook Pro family and replace it with an SD Card slot instead. If you want that express card slot you will have to get the 17-Inch MacBook Pro instead.
You can now get as much as up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and up to 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 in the most expensive 15-incher. The graphics is delivered by the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M card. With 256MB or 512MB of graphics RAM depending on witch model you choose.
The entry level model uses the Intel Core i5 processor.
As with all of the MacBook Pros this one is also made from one solid piece of aluminum. It makes them thin, light, durable and solid.
15 Inch MacBook Pro Battery
