This is how the Macbook Nano looks like

Some chinese people have re made one 10-inch MSI Wind into something they call Macbook Nano. At first sight it just might look something coming straight from Cupertino. Mini-laptops or netbooks as they also may be called have been extremely popular. Everything started with Asus Eee and now the rest of the IT business have their own mini-laptops. But not Apple.

If you look a little closer you can see that this is a re - made MSI Wind U100. It also have all of the cosmetic annoyances we Mac users doesn't have to deal with. They have hacked the MSI Wind so it can run Mac OS X but I cant say if this is working satisfactory. Still it is quite impressive what you can get for the low price. A cheap netbook from Apple would be nice to have. The 13-inch MacBook is nice of course but in some cases it might be just a little too big.

The "MSI Wind Mac OS X computer" is still a popular netbook from MSI with respectable specifications comparing it to the low price. You can get the computer with a Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 10-inch WSVGA LED (1024x600), 320GB SATA drive and built in memory card reader.

Lets hope Apple see this market and release a really cheap laptop. I kind of miss the 12-inch powerbook...
