iTunes 9 Keeps Your Media Organized And Tidy
Many of you probably know about iTunes already and use it. When I switched to Mac I was searching for a replacement to Winamp. Winamp was the application I had used for many years and I could not really leave it.
I was frustrated because I could not find one application with any similarities to Winamp, not one application I liked anyway. It took a while actually, until I realized. This was the way to go. This is the definitive Mac music application.
In the beginning it was not comfortable trusting one application to handle all my audio files. After a while I did understand the Apple way of doing things. Why should I handle my files manually? I have a computer for crying out loud! The computer is made to work, and it should work for ME. This thinking is really hard to grasp if you have lived in the Windows world for quite some time. You are kind of used to trick the computer into doing what you want.
I can guarantee you will love this wonderful Mac music jukebox, if you come from a Windows environment, it might take some time to adjust. But with a open mind you will be hooked in no time. Just give it some time.
One thing that might take some time is to organize all the music you have, maybe you have missing ID tags of a few songs in the library, and the task of giving all music the right names may seem daunting. However if you take your time and do it it will be so much easier to find and listen to the music you have.
