The wait for Jailbreaking your iOS 6 device is now over. evad3rs have released their evasi0n – iOS 6.x Jailbreak after some testing. The jailbreak opens up for fiddling with your iOS device in any way you want. Also for you iPhone 5 owners out there.

This is a untethered version meaning the jailbreak will still work if you reboot your device. At the moment it supports the following devices:

iPhone 5
iPhone 4S
iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS
iPad 4
iPad 3
iPad 2
iPad mini
iPod touch 5
iPod touch 4
Apple TV 2

You can run evasi0n on Windows, OS X and Linux. Cydia is installed from the start, giving you access to apps and hacks not available in the app store.

Remember, this will most likely void your warranty and don’t expect to get any help at all from Apple if you damage your phone due to this.
