With iMovie you can in a easy way edit and create your own home videos
iMovie is a competent application for editing your home movies taking into consideration that it is free. A lot more competent compared to Windows Movie Maker, in my opinion. The sound can also be edited without having to touch the video, you can even use sound from another clip if you want.
If you have a shaky hand when you are filming your videos the new video stabilization feature introduced will actually try to remove this camera shake. You can also adjust it the way you like it. If it gets to a point where the camera shake are too severe it will show you that clip and give you the option to hide it if you want.
And you get all this included when you buy a new Mac.
What about iMovie for Windows?
Sorry, iMovie is only available for Mac OS X. You can use Windows Movie Maker if you want to make movies in Windows. But it is not so good in my opinion so you just might go out and purchase a Mac :)
