Fans Can Enjoy Diablo II On Their Mac

Diablo II

Diablo II was a big sought after game when it was announced. It is the sequel to Diablo I released in January 1997. Now Diablo III is announced, I amongst others are eagerly waiting for this Mac game!

The game is a dark fantasy action role playing game. Or as many would like to call it. Hack and slash. Around one year later after release it had become the most popular online game. The game style is addictive and with free access to battle.net it provided a diversity that makes the game a long lived one.

It was also released one expansion pack called Lord of Destruction in 2001. Also a big success. Read more about it below.

Diablo 2 - Boxart The gameplay consists of several characters you can select and build. The characters are Amazon, Barbarian, Sorceress, Necromancer and Paladin. These classes have different spells and abilities so you can select the character that fit you the most, or the one you want to play.

When playing the game you take on a role as a hero that is fighting monsters during your travels over land and dungeons. The story line consists of four acts and each act have several quest you have to complete. Some quests can be skipped and you can still complete the act wich usually ends with the destruction of a big monster. It would be good to go through all the quests though so you get the complete story line wich is really good.

There is also three difficulty levels, where the first is Normal, then Nightmare and lastly Hell. You have to complete the difficulty levels in order before you can select another difficulty level. When you have completed the Normal difficulty level you can use the same character when starting the Nightmare level, trust me you need it. Also the same when starting the Hell difficulty.
