Colored Apple Laptops

Remember the colored apple laptops you see pictured below? It's the old iBook clamshell. Pretty popular apple laptops in its days. Nowadays we only have white and aluminum. Ok, they are colors too but not that fun wont you say? I am not sure but I think Apple decided to let third parties worry about pimping up your apple laptop. I would assume it is easier for Apple to handle only a few colors, especially when we are talking about service, spare parts and so on.

MacBook Skins

Probably the easiest and most affordable way to get yourself some color on your Mac. The skin is made of vinyl and they are perfectly cut to fit your laptop. They are easy to apply and doesn't leave any residue if you want to take them off again. The skin protects against scratches. Cases

The case is a bit more expensive compared to skins but provides more protection for your Mac. The cases is made out of hard plastic and are easy to snap on and off. The cases have cut outs for ports and drives so you can use the computer as before while having the case on. The cases is also vented so you should not have any problems regarding heat buildup. I couldn't find blue cases from speck but if you search on amazon you can find from other sellers.

Other Customizations

We have companies that can customize your Mac even further, add diamonds around the apple logo. Maybe plate your laptop in 24k gold? Rest assured you need to dig a bit deeper in your wallet if you want this kind of customization. For the most part it is enough with a colorful case or skin.
