17 Inch MacBook Pro, the most high performing laptop ever made?
The 17 Inch MacBook Pro is one of the most high performing Mac Laptop ever made by Apple. Maybe you need this one for your work? With the raw processing power, ability to have lots of RAM, Solid State Drives and still keeping the computer mobile makes it a competent mobile work horse.
Maybe the big size will put someone off but this is truly one of the best MacBook Pro 17 Inch computers you can get these days.

- Built-in 8-9 hour battery
You can select two different CPU speeds: 2.53GHz Intel Core i5 is the lowest one and 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 is the highest. With 8GB of DDR3 RAM you can do a lot of heavy editing work. Solid State Drives makes accessing files faster and gives a general snappier feel. Solid State Drives have no mechanical components and should be less sensitive to shock and general wear and tear when moving the notebook around.
With the built in battery Apple claims you get up to 8-9 hours with one charge. In tests I have read that they came up with around 7 hours. Still pretty good. Because the battery is now a built-in one they didn't need to include space-consuming mechanisms and housings that standard removable batteries require. That is also why they got this battery time in the first place. Making the battery internal they can create a bigger battery, thus longer battery time.
The 17 inch MacBook Pro would not be the best Mac laptop for me. First it is a bit too expensive. I do not need that much raw processing power to update this website. The notebook is not so laptop-friendly because of its size. I think this laptop is best suited for people that need to have their main production computer mobile. People with a lot of client visits that also need the processing power available.
